How It Works:

Website owners are always looking to improve the user experience on their websites, so they conduct usability tests online to find out how they can boost site usage.


When you sign-up and get approved as a user tester at www.usertesting.com, you will be sent periodic emails detailing a particular job they need your help with. Once you receive that email, you have about 15 min to take the job or they take it off the table.

What You'll Need
Taking test require a reliable internet connection, microphone (but they say you can do it by telephone), and be at least 18 years old.

Final Thoughts - Usability Testing
The payout of $10.00 is pretty good for roughly 20 minutes of testing. Also, you don't have to look for the jobs, they email them to you which allows you to go about your day without spending time looking.
